Let's take a look at Spain, shall we?

Hola hola!
I've been living in Barcelona, Spain for a year and a half now, and I am enjoying every bit of it. There is no doubt that they are very creative people. Looking at; Salvador Dali, Gaudi, Picasso and Velazquez proves that it's in their blood!
Pedro Almodovar is great writer and a director! The fact that I'm trying to improve my Spanish, I found the best way to do so.
"Habla con Ella" aka "Talk to Her"

The movie is about 2 women in coma and the weird friendship their men develop while taking care of them.

Yes! He got an Oscar for it! Best original screenplay in 2003.

The movie is in Spanish but you can find in English or watch it in original with English subtitle.

Choose the people you trust wisely!

Hello Everyone!
The weekend is hours away from starting, so I thought I should tell you a great movie to watch with friends or your family.
"Doubt"
It had 5 Oscar nominees 2009  including the best actress. I personally adore Meryl Streep and all her movies. She only acts in the movies that she knows that'll succeed.
The Movie takes place in 1964 at a catholic school in the Bronx.  And the story is about the priests close relationship with a 12 years old black student.

Enjoy and let me know about your feedbacks!

p.s You don't have to be a member to comment, so go ahead and let me know what you think and your suggestions.

Back in the old days

I love old movies. I love the way they speak, the way they dress, EVERYTHING.

"12 Angry Men"

It's a movie from 1957 with Henry Fonda (father of Jane Fonda). The movie is about 12 jury members talking and trying to decide about a crime. Amazing.

Don't have a bad stereo type about black & white movies and give this one a chance. As I said before, I know what I'm talking about.

ENJOY x

Valentine's Day Special

For the loners out there, it's a miserable, for the lovers, it's a very cheessy day today. Personally, I always thought that the Valentine's day was just a marketing strategy for chocolate producers. But we all know that no girl will ever say NO to a box full of heart shaped chocolates!

For the great Romantics, I'd have to reccomend;
"Edward Scissorhands".
If you never heard of it, you probably think I'm nuts to suggest such movie with such a title. But you gotta trust me on this, I know what I'm doing.

Don't worry! I didn't forget the loners out there! I also have a great movie for you to watch alone or with your other fun single friends. "Saw VI"

Believe me, after watching this, you'll even forget your name.
( FYI I've never seen this movie, because I'm a chicken and I can't handle it. Anyways, this still is a great movie to suggest for valentines day.)

I hope a great day full of flowers on your door-mat! If you walk down the street seeing all these happy couples, remind yourselves; you are also loved(!), by your mother.

xoxo

Let's start with one of the best...

Hello Amigos!
I thought, the best way to start this blog is by reccomending you a GREAT movie.
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
It's a pretty old movie, from 1975. But I promise you, you'll love it! Before, I didn't want to watch it since Jack Nicholson is in it, and most of his movies are are very tense. Well let me put it this way, my brother made me watch it and I'm so grateful he did.
Nuff said, now go buy it, download it, rent it or find another way but WATCH IT!

p.s Before watching the movie, do NOT check the actors and while you're watching, see if you can guess who is who.
